This project included upgrades to the existing environmental cooling rooms located in Gibb Hall and Life Science South located on the University of Idaho’s main campus. The work consisted of, but was not limited to: the replacement of 12 existing cooling units with new units that utilized the university’s chilled water system, new LED light fixtures, removal of existing cooler ceiling grids, cutting access doors in the ceiling of coolers, epoxy floor coating over existing rusted metal floor, and new cooler door hardware.
NWESI’s scope of work consisted of reviewing contract documents, and preparing and performing functional test procedures for commissioned systems, equipment and controls.
